I think Southern California has had two cold days and nights this fall..but that’s not stopping me from baking, cooking and munching on fall comfort foods! I love baking and cooking in the cold weather. Usually recipes I find or create are honestly just casseroles and crock pot recipes which is probably the main reason why I don’t mind cooking! Haha, it’s so easy! So in this post I don’t have a crock pot recipe but I do have a Spaghetti Bake for you with light Cream Cheese and Candy Apples-frosting style. I wanted to share ww friendly recipes because I know how hard comfort food can be to find when you’re trying to lose or maintain your weight! So I am going to show you the Candy Apples Frosting Style first and the spaghetti bake will be in the video below which is also a collab with some of my favorite ww community ladies who are also sharing their delish fall recipes. (You don’t want to miss those!)
I got one of those little bags of apples you find at target and I had craft sticks at home already so the first step is pretty simple. Just rinse your apples and place those sticks in! (my kids like the different colored sticks)
Since this is a “fall inspired” collab I picked up the Apple Cider limited edition frosting. (Note: if you are strict with wanted to lose weight than def stick with the lighter frosting, or use this but less on each apple or just make your own frosting ).
I placed the whole thing of frosting in a microwave safe glass bowl and it melted pretty quickly. Just put it in for 10 seconds each time and stir. It was really creamy and easy to work with!
When baking with kids you gotta have the goods. LOL. We had Halloween sprinkles and mini semi sweet chocolate chips. Pretty easy from there..just dip your apple and add your own toppings. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes and Ta-Da! So good! We stored ours in these cute $1 bags I found at target in the dollar spot section too! SCORE!
KID APPROVED! (Btw, my son is allergic to peanuts so I feel safer making our own at home)
Candy Apple Frosting Style

Dip your apples in the frosting

Now for one of my husbands favorites…who by the way doesn’t really like pasta. He insist on me making this over and over and to save him some for him to take with him to work the next day. THAT IS HOW GOOD THIS IS!! Honestly, I will never cook spaghetti any other way again. You must try this! These are teaser pics but like I said in the beginning of the post, this is in the video below along with the ww freestyle points.
