Ohhh man! This year has been a challenge for sure. (I do know it has made my faith in God stronger and the power of prayer is so true!) I got sick with the flu on December 30th and I can’t remember the last time I had a fever and felt that sick. It lasted foreverrrrrr. As soon as I started to get better and time for the kids to go back to school after winter break my babies ended up catching what I caught, but it was worse and I felt guilty.

There is a huge debate online and even in person about whether or not you should get the flu shot. I didn’t. My kids have never ever ever got the flu shot but now I might reconsider after everything that we went through. Both kids were in the hospital because that flu got the best of them at that time. In the video below I get more into detail and give you a little story time of what exactly happened.
