Summer is usually the time we think more about our kids than anything else. We ask ourselves “Where should we vacation for summer? What summer sport is there to play? What will keep the kids busy? What camps should we send them too?”
Well now things are obviously different for children and families overall due to the Covid-19 crisis we have going on. Our summer questions have now changed since we are limited on what we can and cannot do. Luckily, there is such thing as virtual camps! Yes! Let me fill you in here…

Introducing iD Tech
You can sign your child up for virtual camp at iD Tech! It has launched Virtual Tech Camps and Online Private Lessons for kids between the ages 7-19. They have over 20 years of experience, a lot of courses and 1,500 iD Certified Instructors. iD Tech offers Safe social interaction with kids who have similar STEM interests. iD Tech transforms your childās interest of their favorite video games such as Roblox (Jayde’s favorite) and Minecraft into a base for careers at big companies like Google, Ea and more. It will have your child also ahead of the game for college when they take their dream courses! iD Tech offers its renowned STEM programs virtually and at a discount, so families can continue safely supporting their child’s education with live interacting lessons.

The Instructors and Courses
The instructors are all adult educators (no high schoolers or CITs) who specialize in the course that is being taught. The instructors have 5 students max per virtual class. It is 2 hours of live instruction per day + 2 hours of self-paced project development per day. The child is placed in a class with their age group. I do want to mention they also offer Private Lessons. It is one-on-one instruction from iD Certified Instructors it allows the students to create and learn a project in their own home at their convenience.
As mentioned they have a ton of courses to choose from with different schedules that can work for your and your child’s needs. Some examples of the courses available are Roblox, Python, Java, Minecraft, AI, Unreal Engine, Adobe, and 3D modeling. You can click HERE to see more.
Jayde is like many kids obsessed with Roblox so when I mentioned to her that she would be taking a class to help her create her own obby (Roblox Game Design: Make Your Own Obby) she was thrilled and it made me excited to see she was pumped up to be in a summer virtual camp that would fulfill her interest and educate her the same time.

Easy Steps to get started…
Now that you have an idea of what iD tech Virtual camp is about it’s time to get your children signed up! Keep them interacting with others who share the same interest this summer while being educated. When you sign up you search for the course that fits the interest of your child and it shows the age groups .

Once you have found your course you then get to choose what time you would like for that class. Hurry up because they fill up quick since it is 5 students per instructor and because iD tech is the largest, most-trusted tech program in the world! Before you sign up use my code for a discount: OLLEY125 to get $125 off any Virtual Tech Camp. When you sign up you will see the course usually starts within the next week. You will get instructions from there about setting up prior to the class which means making sure zoom is installed and the microphone and such is ready.

Jayde meets with her Virtual Camp learning Roblox Editor making her own obby game daily from 1pm ā 3pm and has enjoyed learning about game design, while interacting with new friends from around the US and while being in the comfort of her own home sitting anywhere she pleases! I highly recommend you sign your child up ESPECIALLY this summer for a virtual camp. Don’t forget to use my code OLLEY125

Thanks for sharing this. I wonder if we have something similar in the UK? I’d be quite interested in an adult version myself!
An adult version would be awesome!
