I came across a very good mystery book that I am so excited to share with you all. First of all if you love mystery and you love Halloween this is going to be the perfect read for you! I could not stop reading ‘The Legend of Mr. Ween’ by Daren Ross from the moment I opened up the free E Book and read it all in one night! Yes! ONE NIGHT!!

I want to read it again actually and it’s appropriate for my almost 8 year old as well. I know she would be so interested in the story. You can’t stop reading this mysterious story once you start. You have that “OMG I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!” mood.

The story has fourteen chapters and here is a break down of what to expect (Of course I can’t tell you all the details. You would have to read it for yourself)

It’s about Hal Ween who is a newbie in town just looking for work and he gets this unsettling and rude welcome from everyone. It definitely catches his attention by how eerie all of his surroundings are around him…and just can’t find a job until he meets Dr. Conda who then offers him a job to work on his farm which is outside of the town.

Soon after Dr. Conda and Hal have the same interest and that is to discover what is bringing the town down. They are convinced it has to do with the mysterious elixir which was also offered to Hal in the beginning of the story by people in the town who tried convincing him that it does amazing things to their bodies. Dr. Conda even goes as far as to testing the elixir out on rabbits.

It gets really good when Mr. Ween shares his thoughts on what is happening to Dr. Conda who is somewhat skeptical…the question is will he help Hal in helping the city that is in danger and figure out exactly what is going on with this mysterious elixir?
