Today’s topic is quarantine makeup. Are you wearing more makeup, minimal or none at all? Honestly I am more of a skincare fanatic than makeup (ESPECIALLY DURING THIS CRISIS) but I feel like this is the best time to play around with makeup! For example if you just so happen have a bad reaction to makeup you don’t have to walk around public with puffy eyes or a rash on yourself. Or if you want to just practice your blending or colors combined that you normally wouldn’t chance before this quarantine…this is the best time.
So this brings me to a series idea. This will be quarantine makeup #1 its just basically haul blog post or reviews. Btw, I just got a sephora order on some things and I can’t wait to share those but let’s start with Urban Decay goodies today shall we?
VICE LIPSTICKS
You want a pigmented lipstick? This is it! The Vice Lipsticks are so pigmented you can just apply a small amount on the center of the lips and use a lip brush to blend. One lipstick can last if you do it that way. I love the colors too! They have so many different colors to choose from and hello quarantine makeup! Try shades you would never imagine trying. You just might like it. I love mixing shades together too! . I personally love the cream UD’s lipsticks as they don’t dry up like others do. They glide on smoothly!
24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
By far my favorite UD 24/7 glide- on eyeliner is Zero! It was my very first Urban decay purchase and I loved it! I had to buy multiples. I remember doing youtube tutorials and I always shared it. It is super easy to apply because it just glides and you don’t tug on your eyelids at all. Their eyeliners are seriously so smooth which is also why I use it for halloween on the kids when decorating their faces. Its awesome! Also, if you aren’t a pro at eyeliner (me) this will make it 10x easier. EVERYONE needs to try these. They also have different shades which makes it so much more fun and let’s you be creative.
All nighter setting spray
Last but not least is the ever so famous setting spray! Who remembers their first makeup setting spray? Mine was again by URBAN DECAY! The urban decay all nighter setting spray DOES last and I sometimes spray it right before my tinted moisturizer and it keeps my makeup from being all runny in the warm weather. The scent, the way it doesn’t feel sticky, the packaging..its all amazing..and I can’t seem to find a setting spray better than this one? Can you?
One thing I do want to note is sometimes the nozzle gets clogged so an easy solution for me is hot water on a washcloth and I wipe it clean and it works again! WOOT!
